Orthoapnean clinical study receives first prize at SEPAR congress.

Bilbao was the chosen venue by the Spanish society of Chest surgery and Pneumology, SEPAR, to hold, from the 6 to the 9 of june, the 47 national congress SEPAR.

Among the congress most memorable acts, stands the prizes awarded to doctors Nuria Reina, Mercedes Martín,, Lidia Lopez, Eva Cabrera y María Victoria, all members from the department of Pneumology in Universitario Virgen de la Victoria de Málaga Hospital, for best oral communication. Their presentation “Treatments against apnea sleep syndrome  via oral appliances” was awarded with the first prize “golden selection” to the best communication to area TRS-VM-CRC.

The doctors work portrays that the use of oral appliance Orthoapnea significantly reduces snoring and apneas allowing patients to regain normal sleeping patterns,normalise hypertension and mitigate excessive diurnal drowsiness , which compromises greatly their quality of life.

This merit endorses the scientific trajectory of Orthoapnea,  the only product that includes all the novelties and improvements in intraoral appliances, granting it great effectiveness and tolerance, and the capacity to advance the jaw when the patient opens their mouth, augmenting thus the opening of the respiratory conducts.
